Role Description:
As Finance Assistant, you will receive an excellent grounding in all aspects of finance. Working as part of a small team, key duties include:
• Accounts payable
• Bank reconciliations
• Timely and accurate updates to Sage accounting system
• Making accurate agreement payments
• Analysing financial data
• Supporting compliance
The ideal Finance Assistant:
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is desirable, AND/OR a bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline, (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field)
• Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Sage and Excel is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to proactively engage and collaborate with team members and colleagues
• A “Can do” attitude with a positive mindset to driving change
