Job Role:
As an experienced and driven Managing Quantity Surveyor you will lead a commercial team and oversee the successful delivery of multiple infrastructure contracts across the UK. You will manage a team of Quantity Surveyors located nationwide, ensuring consistent, accurate, and compliant commercial management across all projects.

Key duties include:

• Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of multiple contracts, ensuring robust cost control, forecasting, and reporting
• Provide strategic commercial advice to project managers and directors
• Manage and administer NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with client and company requirements
• Lead on valuations, change control, early warnings, and compensation events
• Support bid and tender submissions with accurate cost and contractual input
• Contribution to ongoing business improvement initiatives

Managing Quantity Surveyor Specification:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Managing Quantity Surveyor capacity
• Background in civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure frameworks
• Proven experience managing multiple contracts under NEC forms of contract
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing commercial teams
• Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Professional membership (RICS or similar) advantageous
• Full, clean UK driving licence
