Parts and Maintenance Administrator opportunity in Boroughbridge.

Job Details:
Up to £25K – Permanent – 21 days holiday pro rata, (January to December) plus your birthday and bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per full year up to 25 days + birthday pro rata and bank holidays – Company Pension – Company private medical and occupational health scheme – EAP (Employee Assistance programme).

Hours: 4 or 5 full days considered. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm.

Job Description:
The main purpose of the Parts and Maintenance Administrator is to evaluate the needs of customers and provide the right products and services, along with supporting the parts and maintenance team to continually improve service delivery.

Key duties include:

 Act as a key point of contact for customers seeking help with products or technical issues.
 Evaluate client’s needs using specific questioning techniques to obtain /match customer requirements.
 Interact with customers who are not satisfied, putting service and communication techniques into practice, and resolving any conflicts professionally and answering enquires respectfully.
 Follow up with customers after matching needs of their requirements to assess customer satisfaction.
 Create quotations for customer needs in relation to parts required and our service packages.
 Progress quotations through our system by invoicing, ordering from the factory or producing picking notes internally from our stock, to ensuring products are delivered.
 Create work orders through our inhouse system carrying out various tasks such as scheduling engineers, maintaining the diary, creating orders, invoicing, quoting for relevant work and closure of work order.
 Assist in arranging engineering services, maintenance and inspection visits for customers and schedule required resources, (workers, supplies, transport, etc.) to ensure minimal disruption and maximum productivity.
 Support the Parts and Maintenance Team by maintaining the engineer’s diary, balancing competing priorities to schedule jobs to meet customer expectations and maximise efficiency and revenue earning deployment of the team.
 Accommodation management for the engineers on a weekly basis.
 Support the Parts and Maintenance Team in reviewing engineering reports on completion of all jobs and schedules. Action any required follow up work to maintain customer machine productivity.
 Work with the projects team answering their questions, providing guidelines and instructions, and also demonstrating the best solutions for them.

Parts and Maintenance Administrator Specification:
The ideal Parts and Maintenance Administrator MUST:

• Have previous experience of delivering high quality services/products to customers along with an understanding of working within contractual obligations.
• Be computer literate with capability in email, MS office and related business and communication tools.
• Have proven work experience carrying out varied administration tasks and duties.

Own transport required due to the location of the client.
