Role Details:
Up to £30K doe – Full Time – Permanent – Company Pension – Profit Share – Life Cover – Healthcare Cover – Cycle to Work – 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day with each year of service to 26 days plus bank holidays – Buy/Sell Holiday – Free Onsite Parking.

The Client:
Our client is one of the UK’s largest and most successful multi-Channel retailers.

In this role, you will be responsible for account managing an existing retail client base, achieving KPIs through effective sales/relationship management.

Role Description:
Key duties of the Retail Account Manager include:

• Achieve fiscal targets for sales revenue and profitability.
• Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and maintenance of key retail accounts.
• Create a business plan to achieve agreed KPI’s.
• Identify ways to grow business in existing and new product categories.
• Provide timely and accurate account information to management of performance against targets.
• Actively develop, maintain and nurture relationships with key personnel within assigned accounts.
• Report back findings, ideas and suggestions, in formal and informal settings, that can improve any and all areas of the business.
• Support the merchandising team to forecast accurately by sharing learnings and impacts to sales.
• Manage projects within customer relationships, working to carry out customer goals while meeting company goals.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of retail sector and competitor activity.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to create, develop and deliver promotional campaigns that are aligned with business strategies.
• Provide support, advice and coaching to fellow members of the Retail Team.
• Carry out any reasonable tasks as required by your Line Manager.

• Will ideally have account management experience in the retail sector – e.g. account managing supermarkets, e-commerce businesses.
• Will be self-motivated, tenacious, with energy and enthusiasm.
• Will have the ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team, prioritising workload.
• Will be highly organised, a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Will be computer literate with all MS Office packages – Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Own transport would be beneficial although the office is based on a public transport route.
