Sales Executive – £25K – £30K basic, PLUS OTE – Harrogate – 25 days holiday plus bank holidays – Contributory Pension Scheme with employer contribution – Industry training provided.

Job Description:
Reporting into the Sales Director, the main purpose of the role is to quote and close new business sales from leads provided by their two inhouse lead generators, contributing to company growth and increasing brand awareness.

Key duties of the Sales Executive include:
• Develop an understanding of the market and competitor activity
• Call qualified leads to develop business opportunities, (using an in – house database, generated by inhouse lead generators)
• Quote, negotiate and close new business sales
• Manage and develop relationships through first class customer experience
• Produce reports and presentations for meetings where required
• Utilise contacts, networking and referrals to increase sales and client base
• Upselling and cross selling of services to ensure maximum buy – in of services from clients
• Working towards set revenue targets and KPI’s
• Actively and accurately maintaining a CRM system
• Associated sales administration and reporting

Person Specification:
The ideal Sales Executive will have previous experience of working in a similar role, i.e. Business Development Executive, Sales Advisor, Sales Executive.

You will be able to clearly demonstrate how you have achieved set sales targets and KPI’s, negotiated and closed business deals and developed long lasting working relationships in past/current employment.

You will have excellent communication, listening and networking skills.

You will be self – motivated, tenacious and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Experience in merchant services or the energy sector is highly desirable but applications from outside these sectors are welcomed.
