Job Description:
On a day-to-day basis the HR Advisor is responsible for providing practical HR support and solu-tions to the businesses in line with company values, procedures & legal requirements, whilst con-sistently improving the service to our internal customers.

Key duties of HR Advisor include:
· You will work closely with the HR Manager, wider HR Teams and Senior Leaders across the Group businesses to identify HR needs and deliver solutions for the specific businesses.
· You will support with reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
· Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team, you will help to attract and recruit top talent for our businesses, as well as provide interview support as and when needed.
· You will provide timely advice and support to line managers dealing with ER issues, including Sickness, Absence Management, Performance Management, Recruitment, Legislative Compliance, company procedures and the handling of difficult situations.
· You will manage long term sickness absence cases, including conducting welfare meetings, re-questing medical reports and arranging Occupational Health assessments etc.
· You will be responsible for the administration of paperwork relating to the disciplinary process, probations and, redundancies etc.
· You will assist the HR Manager with organisational design, re-structuring and the creation of new roles etc.
· Reviewing People metrics and creating plans to influence them.
· Working with the Learning and Development team to support the delivery of the L&D plan.
· Working with line managers to create accurate job profiles.
· Undertaking regular external salary and benefits benchmarking.
· Supporting line managers in retaining high calibre talent, by identifying training and develop-ment opportunities and supporting with succession planning.

HR Advisor Specification:
The ideal HR Advisor MUST bring:
· Previous experience within a HR advisor role, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
· Have the ability to influence, coach and support managers across the business.
· Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
· A self-starter with the ability to work independently using their own initiative.
· Have proven analytical, numerical and evaluation skills to effectively review data and trends.
· Have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce engaging com-munications.
· Have outstanding relationship building and influencing skills both internally and externally.
· Be confident in challenging difficult stakeholders and have the ability to provide comprehensive and timely advice.
· Have previous experience updating and developing HR policies and procedures.
· Have up to date knowledge of HR trends and employment legislation, achieved through member-ship of relevant bodies and/or forums.
· Have good organisational and case management skills, seeing issues through to conclusion.
