Client Details:
My client is a well-established, highly regarded accountancy practice based in Ripon. They currently have 25 people in the firm.

Job Description:

As well as the below duties, this role will involve client onboarding and attending client meetings. Key duties of the Senior Accountant, (Practice) include:

• To work within the existing accounts preparation team preparing more complex accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and incorporated businesses.
• Preparing tax computations and advising clients on tax issues.
• Preparing associated income, partnership, and corporation tax returns.
• Supporting clients through the transition from manual records to cloud software.
• Assisting directors with the onboarding of new clients.
• Managing junior members of staff in the preparation of accounts.

The ideal Senior Accountant:
• Will have a minimum of 3 years practice experience.
• Be ACA/ACCA Qualified.
• Will have strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Will have knowledge in SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks. Experience in the use of IRIS software would be considered an advantage.
• Will have strong communication skills.
